Sanderson L. Gonzaga de Oliveira holds a doctorate degree in Computer Science from the Instituto de Computação da Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), with a thesis in the fields of numerical methods, applied mathematics and scientific computing, under supervision of prof. Mauricio Kischinhevsky.
He also holds a master's research degree in computer modelling from the Instituto Politécnico (IPRJ) da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), with a dissertation in the fields of image processing, under supervision of prof. Joaquim Teixeira de Assis.
Besides the research degrees, he also has a post-graduate certificate from the ISAD-Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUC-PR) in management and strategic planning, and an undergraduate degree in (computer) systems analysis from PUC-PR, under supervision of profa. Dilmeire Sant'Anna Ramos Vosgerau.
He worked for approximately 10 years as a system analyst in business banking.
He is currently a professor at the DCC-Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA), teaching in undergraduate courses in the degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems, and teaching and supervising students as a member of the Post-graduate by research programme in Computer Science.
He has experience with different topics of Computer Science, with emphasis on computational modelling, numerical methods, computational geometry, scientific computing and digital imaging.
